Collection: Burlotto

Comm. G.B. Burlotto is one of Piedmont's most revered estates, founded in Verduno in 1850 by Giovan Battista Burlotto, an early pioneer of bottling Barolo at a time when most was sold in cask. Now in its fifth generation under Fabio Alessandria, the estate farms across the Langhe by hand, working both Nebbiolo and the rare local Pelaverga Piccolo.

Our Burlotto selection includes:

  • Barolo Monvigliero — the estate's flagship, from a famed Verduno cru
  • Barolo Acclivi and Verduno — traditional, perfumed Nebbiolo
  • Verduno Pelaverga — the rare, peppery local red
  • Langhe everyday bottlings — Dolcetto, Barbera, and more

Traditional, sought-after, and made in small quantities, Burlotto's wines are among the Langhe's most collectible, and our selection covers the range when available.
