The Languedoc-Roussillon sweeps along France's Mediterranean coast and is the country's largest wine region by volume. Once known mainly for bulk wine, it has become a source of serious, well-priced bottles: warm-climate reds built on Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Mourvedre, alongside rose and a growing range of whites.
