COMM. G. B. BURLOTTO LANGHE DOLCETTO D'ALBA 2023

Comm. G. B. Burlotto has been making wine in Verduno since the late 1800s, long before the village earned its own Barolo cru status. Their Dolcetto d'Alba draws from calcareous clay hillside vineyards, soils that give Dolcetto its characteristic firm structure without stripping freshness. Partially whole-cluster fermented and aged nine months, it delivers fresh cherry, wild blackberry, and violet upfront, with a bitter almond finish that's textbook Dolcetto. Burlotto bottles this as a Langhe DOC, giving it broader geographic flexibility while still anchoring it firmly in the Alba orbit.
