Shipping & Delivery Policy

Age Requirement
- You must be 21 or older to purchase and receive alcohol.
- By placing an order, you confirm that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old.
- We reserve the right to request proof of age before processing orders.

Shipping Restrictions
- We only ship spirits within New York State.
- We cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses.
- An adult signature (21+) is required upon delivery.

Place of Sale
- All sales occur in New York, NY.
- Buyers are responsible for compliance with local laws and taxes.
- Sales tax is applied based on our location in New York, NY.

Shipping Options
- UPS and FedEx: Ground (1-6 business days), 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air
- We ship within New York Monday-Saturday (residential weekend delivery available)
- Out-of-state orders ship on Wednesdays only

Order Processing
- Orders are confirmed via email and processed within 1 business day
- We'll notify you of any issues or delays promptly

Weather Considerations
- We may delay shipments due to extreme weather to protect your wine

Local Delivery
- Free local delivery available (see separate policy here)
- Adult signature (21+) required for all deliveries

Billing and Payment
- Orders are not final until reviewed
- Credit cards are charged after order completion
- Billing address must match the credit card used

Shipping Costs
- Calculated at checkout based on destination, quantity, and delivery option
- An insurance fee will be added to shipped orders over $100 (can be waived upon request)

Transfer of Ownership & Responsibility
- Title transfers to the buyer at purchase in New York
- Buyer assumes responsibility for compliance with destination state laws
- We coordinate shipping as a free service

Cancellations and Returns
- Cancelled orders subject to 20% restocking fee
- Wine dinners and events are non-refundable
- Special orders are non-returnable
- All returns are for store credit only

Delivery Areas and Minimums
- Manhattan (East 45th to East 86th Street, Fifth Avenue to East River):
  - $25 pre-tax minimum
- Roosevelt Island:
  - $100 or one case minimum
- Long Island, Queens, & Brooklyn:
  - One case minimum
  - 3-day delivery window

Delivery Hours
- Sunday to Wednesday: 12 PM - 8:30 PM
- Thursday to Saturday: 12 PM - 9:30 PM

- All local deliveries in our delivery zone are made by our own staff
- Our courteous and professional delivery team ensures the utmost care for your items

- Delivery times may vary depending on order volume and location
- Weather, road conditions, and holidays may affect delivery schedules
