Tuscany is Sangiovese country, the central Italian region behind some of the world's most recognized reds. From the cherry-driven wines of Chianti to the structured, long-aging Brunello di Montalcino, Sangiovese takes on a different character in each appellation — and the region's Super Tuscans add Bordeaux varieties to the mix.
