YATIR NEGEV DAROM RED 2021

Yatir's Darom label pulls exclusively from the Negev and southern Judean Hills, where vineyards at 600–900 meters elevation use cool desert nights to offset intense daytime heat. Winemaker Eran Goldwasser, at Yatir since its 2000 founding vintage, built this seven-variety blend around Shiraz alongside Marselan, Zinfandel, Merlot, Tempranillo, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. Each variety is aged separately in oak and concrete vats for nine months before blending. The result is red raspberry, juicy strawberry, and white pepper with soft tannins and a fresh, fruit-driven finish. Certified kosher.
