YATIR CREEK RED 2021

Founded in 2000 as a joint venture between local growers and Carmel Winery, Yatir sits at the foot of the Tel Arad archaeological fort in Israel's southern Judean Hills—a region with documented winemaking history spanning 2,500 years. Vineyards planted in clay limestone soil at high altitude, with cold desert nights, define the winery's distinct terroir. Plots reach approximately 900 meters above sea level, with each parcel vinified separately before blending. This Syrah-led blend of Cabernet Franc, Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, and Grenache delivers ripe raspberry, black cherry, and smoke on the nose, with a succulent, mineral palate and a long finish.
