Siblings Mirko and Federica Martini — the "Barolo Twins" — continue the Gianni Voerzio winery legacy in La Morra. Their "Ciabot della Luna" Langhe DOC Nebbiolo (Michet clone) grows at 440 meters on southeast-facing slopes in the Sant'Agata marl — clay, fine sand, and limestone — with vines planted in 1985 at 6,000 plants per hectare. Four to five manual green harvests per season control yields. Fermented in stainless steel under nitrogen protection, then aged 6–8 months in French oak tonneaux (60% new), it opens with macerated rose and cherry pit, layered with underbrush and red fruit, finishing with soft tannins, vanilla, and a lingering sweet spice.
