VOCORET CHABLIS LES CLOS GRAND CRU 2023

Les Clos, the largest and most celebrated of Chablis's seven Grands Crus, rises on steep Kimmeridgian clay-limestone slopes with prime southern exposure — soil packed with fossilized oyster shells that stamp the wine with sharp mineral intensity. Domaine Vocoret et Fils has farmed these hillsides for four generations across roughly 50 hectares, vinifying traditionally and bottling entirely estate. The 2023 Chardonnay opens with green apple and white citrus, tightens around a chalky, saline core, and finishes long with wet stone and lemon zest.
