Vina Robles' "The Arborist" comes from sustainably farmed vineyards across Paso Robles' diverse terroir, where the region's calcareous soils and Mediterranean climate with significant diurnal temperature swings create ideal conditions for this bold blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Tannat. Founded by Swiss expatriate Hans Nef, who discovered Paso Robles in the mid-1990s and planted six vineyards with partner Hans-R. Michel, this estate combines Old World appreciation with New World innovation in California's dynamic Central Coast region. This 14% ABV red displays lifted aromatics of dark cherries, plums, and spice, delivering a full-bodied palate with integrated tannins and notes of mulberries, barbecue meats, and dried herbs that showcase the rugged character of Paso Robles' emerging winemaking excellence.
