Description of Product
Vina Robles embodies Swiss founder Hans Nef's vision, established in Paso Robles in 1997 with partner Hans-R. Michel. Their project grew from a single vineyard to include six estate properties, a Mission-style hospitality center, amphitheater, and state-of-the-art winery completed in 2018—fulfilling Nef's dream of creating a wine, food, and music destination.
Their 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon blends fruit from two estate vineyards: Huerhuero (moderate climate, calcareous soils) and Creston Valley (high terrain, limestone-rich soils). Following selective harvesting and 20 months in French, Hungarian, and American oak, this dark ruby wine delivers aromas of cassis, cherries, licorice, tobacco, and mocha. The full-bodied palate features juicy red and dark fruits with a firm, chewy finish enhanced by a touch of Petit Verdot for structure.
