VIA CAROTA OLD FASHIONED

Via Carota's bottled cocktail line took two years to develop before launching in 2023 — the work of West Village trattoria chefs Jody Williams and Rita Sodi, whose restaurant the New York Times called "one of the great partnerships in the New York restaurant scene." This Old Fashioned is built on four-year rye whiskey matured in charred oak casks, rounded with aromatic bitters, natural orange flavor, and brown sugar — coming in at 33.5% ABV in a 375ml bottle. The nose leads with caramel and warming spice; the palate adds vanilla and dark fruit; the finish is long with a bright kick of citrus peel.
