VALORI ABRUZZO PECORINO 2023

Valori farms 14 hectares of certified organic vineyards in the Teramo Hills of northern Abruzzo, with parcels between Controguerra and Sant'Omero sitting at 160–300 meters elevation on medium sandy, nutrient-poor soils just kilometers from the Adriatic. Southeast exposure and the coastal-mountain climate push Pecorino — an ancient Abruzzese variety nearly lost before its recent revival — to full phenolic maturity. The 2023 pours straw-yellow with green highlights, offering green apple, peach, and apricot on the nose with crisp minerality and balanced acidity through the finish.
