TORABHAIG ALLT GLEANN LEGACY SERIES

Nearly 200 years after Scotland's 1823 Excise Act made legal distilling possible, Torabhaig opened on the Isle of Skye in 2017 — only the second licensed single malt distillery on the island. The distillery operates from a restored 19th-century farmstead built with stone from a nearby ruined castle, drawing process water from the Allt Gleann burn that names this second Legacy Series release. Matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon and re-fill whisky barrels, it incorporates Laureate malted barley and Safspirit M-1 yeast, yielding a peatier, more layered profile than the inaugural bottling — smoke, dried fruit, and a notably long finish for its age.
