Tor Kenward built TOR Wines around a single obsession: sourcing from Napa's most distinctive terroir without owning a single estate acre. This 2014 Proprietary Red pulls from Oakville, blending 44% Cabernet Franc, 44% Petit Verdot, and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon — an unconventional split that inverts the usual Cabernet-dominant formula. Oakville's benchland soils, ranging from well-drained gravelly loam to clay-rich valley floor, underpin the wine's density and textural depth. On the palate, expect forest floor, blackcurrant, blueberry, and licorice with finely grained tannins and a long finish.
