THIBAUD BOUDIGNON ANJOU BLANC 2023

Thibaud Boudignon launched his domaine in 2009 with just 3.5 hectares in Anjou, committing immediately to practicing biodynamic farming and high-density vine culture on the shallow grey schist and rhyolite soils that define this corner of the Loire. The 2023 Anjou Blanc draws from 35-year-old Chenin Blanc vines, fermented on indigenous yeasts with no malolactic fermentation to preserve natural acidity, then aged in a mix of 228, 350, and 500-liter barrels at 20% new oak. Expect the taut, mineral-driven profile typical of Boudignon's Anjou: green apple, citrus pith, white flowers, and volcanic minerality with a long, precise finish.
