Dark berries and crushed violet aromatics lead into a palate of red plum and fresh herbs, with a finish that stays bright and light on its feet — a profile shaped by Anjou Noir's greenish-grey schist soils, which drive nervous acidity and firm but fine texture. Bénédicte and Luc Briand farm this Vin de France biodynamically at Terra Vita Vinum, blending Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, Gamay, and Chenin Blanc from manually harvested parcels. Partial whole-bunch short macerations and gentle pressing preserve freshness; the wine ages partially in barrel and is bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites.
