TERRA VEGA CARMENERE 2023

Terra Vega's Carmenère comes from Chile's Valle Central, where alluvial soils and a Mediterranean climate — warm days, cold Andean nights — give the variety the heat it needs without losing freshness. Carmenère arrived in Chile from Bordeaux in the 19th century and was largely mistaken for Merlot until DNA testing in the 1990s confirmed its identity. This bottling is certified kosher mevushal and vegan. Expect ripe plum, blackberry, and dark chocolate alongside the variety's signature green pepper note, with soft tannins and a clean finish.
