SIGNATORY VINTAGE CAOL ILA 2009 9YR CASK STRENGTH

Signatory Vintage, founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington, is one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, selecting single casks that highlight distillery character without compromise. This Caol Ila was distilled on November 16, 2009 at Islay's largest distillery, where Atlantic winds and peat-rich water from Loch Nam Ban shape a distinctly coastal spirit. Aged nine years in a single hogshead (cask #321217) and bottled at cask strength 59.8% ABV on July 31, 2019, it is non-chill filtered with natural color. Expect grassy peat smoke, briny sea salt, lemon peel, and vanilla, with creamy malt and a lingering coastal finish.
