Bunnahabhain, founded in 1881 on Islay's northeast shore, runs wide-necked stills that produce an unpeated, oily maritime spirit — uncommon for the island. Signatory Vintage bottled single cask #587, distilled February 13, 2007 and bottled July 31, 2019, at cask strength 58.9% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color. Twelve years in a first-fill sherry butt delivers dried dark fruit, marzipan, and dark honey on the nose, with salted caramel, milk chocolate, and herbaceous spice on the palate, finishing long and briny.
