SIGNATORY VINTAGE LINKWOOD 2008 9YR

Extended fermentation at Linkwood — up to 105 hours — is the distillery's primary tool for building the fruit-forward, floral character blenders prize enough to route most of this Speyside output straight into Johnnie Walker. Signatory Vintage drew this release from a single bourbon barrel (cask #800059), distilled May 14, 2008 and bottled December 5, 2017 at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color. Nine years in that one cask yields elderflower, grapefruit, and honeycomb on the nose, with orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, and a touch of almond on the palate before a clean, medium-length finish.
