In Okinawa, two brothers launched Shibui with a focus on small-batch Japanese whisky aged in tropical heat — conditions that accelerate maturation compared to Scottish or Kentucky cellars. The 10 Year Pure Malt draws on that climate-driven aging, which compresses wood interaction and pushes caramel and spice development faster than temperate warehouses allow. Pot still distillation and extended maturation yield a thick, creamy palate of roasted almond, coffee, and caramel cookie, with a thread of ginger on the finish.
