Count Gaetano Marzotto revitalized abandoned Venetian vineyards in 1935, naming the estate after his wife Margherita and applying modern agricultural science to land that had produced wine since Roman times—today the sustainably farmed Villanova winery operates as an energy self-sufficient facility in the heart of the family business. This Pinot Grigio comes from the Valdadige appellation in Trentino-Alto Adige, where alpine rivers and sun-drenched hillsides create distinctive growing conditions for the region's signature white grape. The wine pours straw yellow with clean, intense aromatics, delivering bone-dry Golden Delicious apple, white peach, and citrus notes with crisp acidity.
