Our Store's First Private Barrel Selection

When we decided to launch our inaugural private barrel program, Wild Turkey and the Russell family legacy were the only names we considered. We sampled eight barrels before selecting this one for its unique hybrid character—balanced sweetness with unexpected spice complexity that set it apart from the standard Russell's Reserve profile.

Barrel 25-0484 Specifications:

• Rickhouse: Tyronne, Floor 4 (extended oak influence)
• Distilled: January 18, 2017
• Aged: 8 years
• Dumped: July 29, 2025
• Proof: 110 (drinks dangerously smooth below its strength)

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Deep amber
• Aroma: Pastry cream, caramel, honey, mild oak, and citrus that develop into tobacco and leather
• Taste: Vanilla cream, honey, bright cherry, and clove with exceptional balance
• Finish: Toasted oak and mild cinnamon spice with a tingling warmth, no burn
