ROMBAUER CALIFORNIA ZINFANDEL 2023

Rombauer is best known for Chardonnay, but their California Zinfandel draws from warm-climate vineyards across the state where ripe berry fruit is a given. The blend pulls from multiple appellations, giving the winemaking team flexibility to hit a consistent, fruit-forward profile each vintage. Aged in oak, it delivers concentrated blackberry and raspberry on the nose with clove and baking spice, then opens on the palate with cherry, licorice, and vanilla. Tannins are plush and round, with a back-of-palate pepper note and a clean, reasonably long finish.
