Rutherford Ranch Winery, established in 1978 on Napa's Silverado Trail, was acquired in 2000 by the Zaninovich family, multi-generational California farmers with Croatian heritage who began farming in Kern County in 1933. The winery and estate vineyards are certified sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, with farming practices the family has employed for three generations. This Rhiannon Proprietor's Blend combines Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera sourced from select California vineyards, creating an approachable yet complex red wine. Bright cherry and berry aromas lead to lush flavors of blackberry, Bing cherry, and raspberry, layered with toasted oak, vanilla, and subtle caramel notes that finish with fine-grained tannins and a velvety mouthfeel.
