QUINTA DA LIXA VINHO VERDE TERRAS DO MINHO BRANCO

The Meireles family has farmed Vinho Verde's Sousa sub-region since the mid-1980s, running their 105-hectare Quinta da Lixa estate under an integrated production system with Carlos Teixeira as oenologist. Granite soils and an Atlantic-cooled climate define the region's signature tension, and this Loureiro, Trajadura, and Arinto blend fermented in stainless steel captures exactly that. Lightly effervescent, it opens with green apple, melon, and white peach, moves through a tangerine mid-palate, and finishes crisp and clean with good aromatic lift.
