The Meireles family has farmed the Sousa sub-region of Vinho Verde since the mid-1980s, and their 105-hectare estate—managed under an integrated production system—has been estate-bottled since the 1990s under oenologist Carlos Teixeira. Vinho Verde's granite soils and Atlantic-cooled climate account for the bracing freshness that defines this Loureiro, Trajadura, and Arinto blend, fermented in stainless steel to preserve its aromatic lift. Green apple, melon, and white peach on the nose carry through to a smooth, lightly effervescent palate with tangerine and a crisp, clean finish.
