PRUNIER COGNAC VSOP

Prunier, founded in 1769 and based in La Rochelle, is one of the older independent Cognac houses still operating today. Their VSOP is distilled in traditional copper alembic charentais stills from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the Cognac appellation, then aged a minimum of four years in Limousin oak barrels. The result is a medium-bodied pour with dried apricot, vanilla, and toasted oak on the nose, a palate of warm baking spice and candied orange peel, and a clean, slightly woody finish.
