PRODUTTORI DI MANDURIA FIANO 'UNI' SALENTO 2024

Four hundred growers, averaging barely over two hectares apiece, supply Puglia's oldest working cooperative — founded in Manduria in 1928 and still going. The Fiano for this bottling comes off roughly 20-year-old vines on limestone soils in the Salento peninsula, where the daytime heat is real but Adriatic breezes drop the temperature at night and keep the acidity intact. Vinified entirely in stainless steel, no oak anywhere. Pale straw in the glass, with green apple, pear, melon and orange blossom, lean citrus acidity, and a faint saline edge on the finish.
