PRIVATEER BOTTLED IN BOND TRUE AMERICAN RUM

Bottled-in-bond rum is a rare category in the United States, and Privateer's True American is one of the few examples built to meet the strict federal standard: distilled at a single distillery in a single season, aged a minimum of four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof with no additives. Privateer operates out of Ipswich, Massachusetts, using molasses as the base and refusing sweeteners, artificial flavors, or heavy filtration. The result is a straightforward, honest rum with caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit, and a clean, dry finish.
