PLUMPJACK RESERVE CHARDONNAY 2023

Founded in 1995 by Gavin Newsom and Gordon Getty on a historic 42-acre Oakville estate, PlumpJack sources this 100% Chardonnay from two organically and sustainably farmed Napa Valley vineyards—one in cool Los Carneros, one in warmer St. Helena—10–15°F apart in average temperature. Winemaker Aaron Miller fermented and aged the wine in 67% stainless steel and 33% French oak Burgundy barrels at 52–54°F with no malolactic fermentation, preserving the vintage's natural acidity. Lemon, Granny Smith apple, and wet stone layer over cantaloupe, nectarine, and honeysuckle, finishing with a tangy, creamy texture at 14.2% ABV.
