Patrón XO Cafe is built on Patrón Silver, itself made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco and distilled twice in copper pot stills. Unlike most coffee liqueurs, which lean on rum or neutral spirit, this one keeps tequila as the base — an uncommon move that shapes the whole flavor profile. Arabica coffee essence sourced from Veracruz and Chiapas is blended in, and the result skews deliberately dry rather than sweet. The nose delivers fresh roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and vanilla; the palate follows with espresso and cocoa; the finish is smooth and dry with cooked agave underneath.
