Napa Cabernet blends are common; what separates this one is a three-site architecture spanning volcanic Howell Mountain, the schist and clay of Mount Veeder, and valley-floor alluvium in Oakville — all sustainably farmed by O'Shaughnessy Estate. The 92% Cabernet Sauvignon is rounded out with Malbec, St. Macaire, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, then aged 21 months in French oak. The result leads with black currant and blackberry, picks up cocoa powder and aged leather mid-palate, and closes long — mountain tannin structure softened by Oakville's silky texture.
