MOUNT GAY SILVER RUM

Founded in 1703, Mount Gay holds the title of the world's oldest commercially operating rum distillery, based in Barbados. Coral limestone filters the island's groundwater, directly influencing the house style across every release. The Silver is distilled from Barbadian sugarcane molasses using both pot and column stills, then charcoal-filtered rather than aged, keeping it clear and light-bodied. Expect fresh sugarcane, banana, and citrus peel up front, a hint of white pepper at mid-palate, and a clean, dry finish that blends easily.
