MILLSTONE 100 RYE WHISKY

Pure rye — no corn, no wheat — sets Millstone 100 apart from most American-style ryes, and a 100% rye mash bill aged a minimum of 100 months in new American oak is the backbone of this Dutch whisky from Zuidam Distillery. An unusually long 11-day fermentation allows malolactic fermentation to occur naturally, adding complexity before the spirit ever touches wood. The result opens with citrus and warm spice on the nose, moves into fruity honey sweetness on the palate, and closes with a long peppery vanilla and oak finish.
