MERRY EDWARDS SAUVIGNON BLANC 2023

The Sebastopol Hills sit at the western edge of the Russian River Valley, where daily Pacific fog and cool marine air slow ripening and preserve acidity in ways few California appellations can match — and Merry Edwards has farmed this ground under certified sustainable and organic practices across five estate vineyards: Coopersmith, Cresta d'Oro, Flax, Georganne, and Meredith. Grapes are hand-picked, field-sorted, and whole-cluster pressed before barrel fermentation and five months sur lie in 18% new French oak. The result is silky but taut, leading with Meyer lemon, white pineapple, and lemongrass, then yellow stone fruit and marzipan mid-palate, with a bright citrus finish.
