Most Merry Edwards Pinot Noir bottlings are single-vineyard wines; this Sonoma Coast is a deliberate multi-site blend, drawing from the appellation's coolest fog-belt sites where marine layer influence compresses ripening and keeps acidity sharp. The coastal exposures here produce lighter-framed fruit compared to warmer Russian River benchmarks. Fermented with whole clusters and aged in French oak, it delivers rose petal, ripe cherry, and blueberry with sandalwood and a thread of spice, finishing clean and lifted — built for the table rather than the cellar.
