MEO CAMUZET CLOS VOUGEOT 2020

Clos de Vougeot is a 50-hectare Grand Cru walled vineyard in the Côte de Nuits, planted on clay-limestone soils that shift in character from the higher, stonier upper sections to the richer, deeper clays lower down — Méo Camuzet holds parcels among the most prized positions on the slope. The domaine, which began bottling under its own label in 1985 after transitioning out of sharecropping agreements, follows a minimal-intervention approach: hand-harvesting, careful sorting, and well-planned barrel aging. Pinot Noir from this 2020 vintage delivers dark cherry, iron-edged earth, and a structured but silky finish.
