Meiomi Red Blend combines fruit from California's coastal winegrowing regions, where cool-climate conditions produce grapes with balanced acidity and concentrated flavors. Winemaker Jason Becker, who has worked at several of California's top estates, blends varietals from complementary appellations to achieve the wine's signature profile. The 2023 blend (13.7% ABV) opens with aromas of jammy dark fruit, vanilla, mocha, and blackberry, leading to a soft, velvety palate with a smooth finish. Best served lightly chilled for 30 minutes, this approachable red pairs well with barbecue and casual gatherings.
