Montosoli is one of Montalcino's most coveted north-facing hillsides, its galestro and alberese soils yielding wines of intense minerality — and Le Ragnaie's Casanovina parcel sits at the heart of it. This single-vineyard 2018 Brunello di Montalcino is aged in both cement and large Slavonian oak botte, preserving the grape's natural structure rather than adding new-oak character. Dark cherry and pressed blueberry open the palate, followed by chalky crushed-stone minerality and powdery tannins, with a lingering sweet cherry note on the close.
