Maison Louis Latour, a family-owned Burgundy négociant-éléveur since 1797 and tenth-generation steward of 50 hectares including the Côte d'Or's largest Grand Cru holdings, sources this Bourgogne Pinot Noir from limestone and clay terroirs across Burgundy's temperate hillsides—the same calcareous soils that have defined the region's winemaking since the 17th century when the Latour family first planted vines. Vinified at the historic Château Corton Grancey cuverie using gravity-flow methods to prevent oxidation, the wine showcases pure Pinot Noir character with ruby red color and fresh raspberry fruit when young, combining grace with vigor and strength with finesse. The palate delivers bright red cherry, earth, and subtle spice notes—a noble expression that pairs beautifully with grilled meats and mature cheeses.
