LAROCHE LA CHEVALIER ROSE 2024

The IGP Pays d'Oc spans Languedoc's limestone and clay hillsides under a Mediterranean sun tempered by dry continental winds off the Massif Central — and it's this stretch of southern France where Domaine Laroche planted its Mas La Chevalière estate near Béziers in 1996. Grapes for this rosé are sourced from Cévennes and Béziers, drawing on 25-year-old Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault vines across 15 hectares of structured slopes in the Orb Valley. Whole-bunch pneumatic pressing with four hours of skin contact is followed by fermentation and six months in stainless steel — no oak, no malolactic. The result is a pale-pink wine with crushed raspberry, red cherry, and a citrusy finish with bright acidity.
