LA GRAN SENORA EXTRA ANEJO

Named for family matriarch Doña Elena Camarena, La Gran Señora Extra Añejo comes from Tequila Supremo (also known as Gran Dinastia), a Jalisco distillery founded in Arandas in 1938 and now recognized as the first tequila producer to achieve net-zero carbon emissions. Blue Weber agave grows in the iron-rich red soils of Los Altos highlands for over six years before harvest. The mature piñas are cooked in a century-old volcanic oven, fermented in open steel tanks, and double distilled in pot stills, then aged 42 months in ex-tequila American white oak casks. Butterscotch and burnt orange peel open, cinnamon runs through the palate, and toasted brioche with vanilla custard close the finish.
