Grapes from Kumeu's cool, clay-heavy Auckland soils and Hawkes Bay combine to give the wine both freshness and body. Fermentation splits between stainless steel (67%) and old French oak barriques (33%), the barrels adding subtle richness without detectable oak flavor while the tank portion keeps the fruit precise. The mid-palate is weighty with peachy ripeness, and crisp acidity drives a clean, refreshing finish — solid at the table with fish or shellfish.
