JOSH CELLARS CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2022

Named for winemaker Joseph Carr's father, Josh Cellars built its reputation on approachable California Cabernet Sauvignon at scale — sourcing fruit across the state's diverse growing regions. The 2022 draws from warmer inland valleys where well-drained soils and long, dry summers push concentrated dark fruit. Blackcurrant and blackberry lead the palate, accented by vanilla and roasted almond, with cinnamon and clove layered through from oak aging. Tannins are firm but polished, and the finish has decent length for the price point — an easy-drinking weeknight red.
