Founded in 1972 by Tom and Sally Jordan with legendary enologist André Tchelistcheff, Jordan Winery pioneered Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, where gravelly alluvial benchland soils and mountain-influenced microclimates create ideal conditions for sustainable and organic viticulture across a network of select grower vineyards. Winemaker Maggie Kruse continues the estate's four-decade legacy, blending Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec to craft an approachable yet age-worthy wine. Intense aromas of ripe black cherry, graphite, blackberry, and violet open to a well-balanced palate of blueberry, cassis, and boysenberry woven with silky tannins from French oak aging—dark fruit flavors and delicate acidity that evolve beautifully in the glass and linger gracefully on the finish.
