JAMESON BLACK BARREL IRISH WHISKEY

John Jameson established his Dublin distillery in 1780, and the triple-distillation method he standardized still defines every drop of Jameson made today. Black Barrel builds on that foundation with a secondary maturation in heavily charred new American oak after initial aging in seasoned bourbon casks — the double-barreling amplifies the wood's contribution well beyond the standard expression. The result layers butterscotch, fudge, and creamy toffee on the nose, with vanilla sweetness and hazelnut on the palate, finishing on toasted oak and lingering vanilla.
