Red cherry, dried rose, and a streak of iron-tinged minerality define this Pinot Noir from Louis Jadot's Clos des Ursules — a monopole parcel within the Vignes Franches premier cru in Beaune that the Jadot family has held since 1826. The site's clay-limestone soils sit at mid-slope on a gentle east-facing aspect, delivering the structure and precision the wine is known for. Destemmed grapes ferment over three to four weeks before aging 18 months in Cadus oak barrels, producing a supple but firmly framed palate with dried herbs, earthy spice, and a long, mineral-driven finish.
