Thirteen generations deep in Riquewihr, Hugel has been one of Alsace's benchmark houses since 1639, and their Classic Gewurztraminer is where that track record is easiest to taste. The Vosges Mountains create a rain shadow that makes Alsace one of France's driest wine regions, concentrating aromatics in the grape through warm days and cool nights. Certified organic farming underpins the vintage.
