HERDADE DOS COELHEIROS ROSE 2024

Most Alentejo rosés lean on the region's heat for ripe, soft-fruited profiles — this one uses a 300-meter, northwest-facing vineyard beside the Arraiolos stream to hold onto tension instead. Herdade dos Coelheiros is a certified organic, 800-hectare estate in Arraiolos where owners Alberto Weisser and Gabriela Mascioli have prioritized regenerative farming and biodiversity since 2015. The blend pairs Syrah from those cooler, elevated soils with Touriga Nacional grown in clay-sandy ground at the Cabido Vineyard. Violet, fresh red fruit, and citrus lead the nose; the palate is vibrant with crisp acidity and a long, persistent finish.
